This day trip was definitely the highlight of our two week vacation to Las Vegas. We wanted to extend our many thanks to all the people who helped to make it such a memorable day for us - especially the coach driver.

Absolutely brilliant, the view from the helicopter was breathtaking! The staff were polite, very approachable and knowledgeable. One of the best tours I have had, highly recommended. My only complaint is the duration of the tour - there was not enough time to see all the sites. The tour should be extended to at least 5 hours to allow time for lunch, the Skywalk and the heli/pontoon rides.

Even though we had an early start - 6am - it was worth getting up for. On the way to the Canyon we had a quick stop at the Hoover Dam. We swapped buses, and believe you me you can understand why - the dust! You are eating it whilst sitting on the bus - the road to the Canyon is very basic to say the least. The Canyon, though, is breathtaking. The helicopter ride to the Canyon floor is amazing. I sat up front a long with the pilot, and my view was out of this world. You can't begin to explain the size of the Canyon. You only have to look at how dwarfed the helicopters are to appreciate the scale of the place. Once on the Colorado River it is all so peaceful. It is so fresh, the trees, the water, the lack of traffic other than the helicopter and the lack of people compared to the hustle bustle of Las Vegas. Idyllic is the word. We went from the terminal to Eagle Point. You see why it is called that when you get there, it is amazing. The Skywalk is well worth going on. It is amazing what the architects and engineers have done to make this all possible. To sum up - this is a fully packed day which leaves you totally humbled by the sheer wonder and beauty of nature.

Worth every cent. If you get the opportunity to fly down to the floor of the Canyon, do it! We have memories that will always be with us. 10/10. PS: The Skywalk was another great activity and we highly recommend it.

It was a great experience, very nice. Combines all types of adventure: boat, helicopter, and road trip. I highly recommend the helicopter ride. I was interested for the Skywalk very much initially, but after the helicopter ride I didn't mind not even going to the Skywalk.
Greaqt fun totally worth it $$$$$

It was a well organized tour. I very much enjoyed the humor of our driver and found him to be very entertaining. Loved the helicopter ride! Everybody I came in contact with on this tour was friendly and helpful. The driver who took us back to the hotels was a very nice gentleman. The Skywalk is not as big as shown in pictures, and I wouldn’t do it again. I also didn’t like that no cameras were allowed and if you wanted pictures you could only get them through the photographers on the walk, which was very expensive. The Skywalk was optional, but I did enjoy the rest of the tour and would recommend it to others.

The day started early, being picked up at our hotel before making a brief stop and then changing coach and starting our tour. Once we arrived at the West Rim, we were transferred to our helicopter for a brief ride to the base of the canyon. The experience was phenomenal: we were dropped off at the base of the canyon before embarking on a 20 minute pontoon boat trip down a short stretch of the Colorado River, then turning around and travelling back to the start. Although we could barely understand the guide on the boat, the experience was totally awe-inspiring. After the return trip to the rim of the canyon by helicopter we boarded a shuttle coach to the Skywalk. While I was disappointed that cameras were not allowed (bags were checked in), the experience itself was breathtaking. Professional photographs were taken at a charge of $20 for 2 (explaining why cameras were not allowed!). Following lunch, which consisted of a sandwich, potato salad, orange and small bottle of water, we then boarded another shuttle coach taking us to a ranch. We stayed briefly, as there was a heavy downpour of rain before returning to the main car park for our return trip to Las Vegas. Unfortunately. due to the downpour, flash floods had caused the road to become inaccessible and then pandemonium ruled. Inadequate communication caused people to panic, the whispers and rumours started and we ended up with an angry crowd of people wanting to know when we would get back to the city. Eventually after a number of people payed for private flights down we were escorted by the Sherrif off the West Rim in a convoy of coaches and eventually returned to our hotel 6.5 hours late. Despite this sorrowful end to the day, it in no way detracted from this truly once in a lifetime experience. Our coach driver was wonderful and we thank him for getting us down to safety without any problem. This is highly recommended.

The Grand Canyon West Rim Tour, Helicopter to Canyon Floor and Colorado River Pontoon Boat Combo were absolutely amazing! The sights we saw could not be seen as well any other way. I would like to comment extensively on our bus driver and tour guide. Not only was he personable, professional, entertaining, informative, and extremely accomodating, but he keeps his cool under adverse conditions as well as anyone I have ever met. The traffic over Hoover Dam was horrendous on our return, contributing to problems with the bus. No doubt he was the most frustrated person on the bus, since he was responsible for the experience that the 75 others of us had. Never did he once show any undue sign of stress to the passengers. He was able to coax the bus to Boulder City and then he stopped at the Hacienda so that we could all relax, cool off, and get some help. He got a mechanic to look at our bus and repair it as well as getting a second bus there to take as many of the passengers as possible. There were a few of us with planes to catch on a tight schedule, and he personally saw that we were taken as close to our destinations as possible as quickly as could be done safely. The breakdown could have ruined an otherwise delightful trip, but the way he took care of us ensured that we would not only do it again, but would heartily recommend it to others!

This tour was definately worth the money. Since we added the helicopter ride, we did not have time to visit the ranch site. The skywalk was amazing, but I was disappointed that I could not take my camera onto the skywalk. The views were breathtaking and our guide was entertaining as well as knowledgeable and accomodating.
