We enjoyed self-driving to the West Rim. With a limited amount of days in Vegas, it was wonderful to be able to travel on our own schedule. Our Chevy Traverse was perfect for the trip and the GPS system/folder of information was an excellent asset. The cooler of water was a nice touch as well. We enjoyed the Skywalk and Guano Point. We did not tour the ranch. We spent approximately 3 hours at the West Rim. We found the Hualapai to be gracious hosts! We had done "research" prior to booking this tour so we knew what to expect with both the drive and the experience once at the West Rim.

The trip was great. We were all impressed how well organized it was. We got picked up at our hotel by a new Escalade, and the driver was right on time. Went to have the orientation and pick up the Hummer. The Hummer was a 2009 and fully loaded. It was a blast to drive. I actually want to buy one now. The trip to Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon was spectacular, driving ourselves was definitely the way to go. We got to stop wherever we wanted. When we got back from the trip, we still had the Hummer for the whole night. We took it to downtown Vegas for some more fun. We would recommend this anyone who thinks they might enjoy it.

We had an absolutely wonderful time and would recommend it to everyone to try at least once if not many more times. We would do it again. Spectacular adventure!!!

Tour with great freedom to move around anywhere, and the impressive Hummer treatment of the person who gave us the car just perfect. Absolutely recommended.

We needed to reschedule because of a sickness, and the company was very helpful and understanding. We found the experience to be very professional. Being able to return the car to the hotel Hertz desk was very convenient. Thanks for a great trip.

Our day out at the Skywalk in the Hummer H3 was amazing. Driving the Hummer was superb! Company was very good and very professional. The Skywalk was also a fab experience. I would recommend this trip to anyone not afraid of heights!

The experience was great! The driver who picked us up at our hotel, Bobby, was great. He gave us a lot of great info. The Jump drive w/ all the trips programmed is fantastic. A couple of downsides: 1). The bag with snacks & water fell a little short of our expectations. For example, there were three in our party & only two bottles of water. We asked for an addl bottle and were told the bags came pre-packaged & could not get another bottle. 2). We picked up the car at The Hard Rock & were told we could return to Harrahs, which we did w/out issue. I noticed a couple of days later my credit card was stillbeing charged. I called and was told my slip was still open. Still waiting for all the charges to be reversed. 3). We were also informed if we returned the car dirty, there is a $35 detail fee. Ive rented cars all over the country & this was a first. Another agency where we rented a car had a $50 detail charge.
Overall, very worth the trip. The Skywalk was definately worth doing. Ive read reviews where ppl have said it isnt worth the $ but I have to disagree and say it was definately worth it.

The self-drive was very fun and adventurous! Even though it was a two and a half hour drive, there was lots to see. And driving in the H2/Escalade made it even more fun!

As the description details I thought I was getting a Cadillac Escalade but I got a Chevy Traverse, I did not receive any of the value added extras detailed in the itinerary (Cooler, water, reading materials and maps). The skywalk was a bit of a rip off (nothing more than an opportunity to make money from photos) but we made the best of it. There were very few options for meals if you were on a low fat diet or vegetarian. The canyon was beautiful though. I think worth a look from a different location more from the North or South, not in such a touristy venue. The tour itself was nothing more than a rental car set up from my point of view.
