Your luxury tour of the Hoover Dam begins when your professional driver-guide arrives at your Las Vegas hotel in a specially equipped Hummer H2.
Sit back, relax & enjoy a fun, fact-filled DVD on the Hoover Dam as you travel to historic Boulder City, past the shores of scenic Lake Mead and through the entrance of the Black Canyon.
When we arrive at the Hoover Dam, you will receive your Discovery Tour ticket, which is included with your tour price. The Discovery Tour is a way to see, learn and appreciate what Hoover Dam is all about.
Things To See & Do On The Discovery Tour:
Theater Level Displays - Murals, maps, photos and other displays provide an introduction to Hoover Dam history.
Theater One - How the West was Won presents the contribution of the Bureau of Reclamation in taming the rivers, making the desert bloom and helping to grow the food that feeds the nation.
The Power Plant Generators - Take the large elevators 500 feet down into the wall of Black Canyon, walk through the 250-foot long tunnel drilled out of rock and view the 650-foot long Nevada wing of the power plant and its eight huge generators.
The Exhibit Gallery - Located on the plaza level of the Tour Center, these exhibits highlight some of the natural history of the region and present a picture of how Hoover Dam operated in the past and the present.
Bring your camera for plenty of photo opportunities - you might even catch a glimpse of the majestic desert big horn sheep! Ride back to Las Vegas in ultimate luxury and safety in our fully air-conditioned, specially equipped Hummer H2.
Please note: Due to construction of the new Hoover Dam bypass bridge, there may be occasional traffic delays. In rare cases, your tour itinerary may be shortened to accommodate the increased travel time in the Hoover Dam area.

My wife and I had a great time! We were the only ones on the afternoon tour and it couldnt have worked out any better. It was just like having our own personal tour guide. We are not much for large groups of people on tours because it feels like you are out of touch with everything, but this tour was the exact opposite. We had a great tome and would recommend it to anyone.

This tour was wicked, fantastic, worth every penny, had a nice ride down to the dam in a Hummer, not an every day ride for myself.
Great tour guide called Scott, very friendly, very funny, knew all bout the histroy of the Dam, Vegas, etc, answered all our questions on anything that we needed to know, also provided us with plenty of cold bottles of water, which was really good, as it was just so so hot out there.
Highly reccomend using again, or for anyone else who wants to go on these great tours.

Absolutely fantastic morning visiting Hoover Dam. Pickup was prompt and the ride was extremely comfortable in a Hummer. Our tour guide, Bill, was very knowledgeable about the area and made our day memorable. Ive taken tours with other companies in the area but this was by far the best!
