Description
Let us pick you up at Downtown Las Vegas & Strip hotels onboard our air-conditioned motor coach or minibus. Leave Las Vegas behind and head south towards the Grand Canyon!
We'll cross over the Hoover Dam before continuing on to Kingman, Arizona. After driving down historic Route 66, we'll check in with our river raft guides.
Then, hop onboard the tribal bus for a scenic, though bumpy, 17-mile drive down to the river on the only road into the Grand Canyon. At the river, put on your life jacket, put your camera in the watertight camera box & listen to the safety instructions.
Then, get ready as we hop onboard an inflatable, motor-powered raft & hit our first rapids just seconds from pushing off! You will get wet! Raft 40 miles through Class 3 & 4 (out of 6) rapids for about 5.5 hours!
When your raft trip ends, you'll still be in the depths of the Grand Canyon. Our jet helicopter picks you up near the river. Then, climbs among spectacular 4,000-foot cliffs from the river to the tribe's modern airport at the Grand Canyon West Rim (7 minutes approximately).
From the air terminal, return on a relaxing, comfortable journey (2.5 hours approximately) to Las Vegas!

Children must be at least 8 years old to go on this adventure!
Please note: The helicopter ascent is weather permitting

This trip is fab. It's well organised, safe and exciting, although it is a very long day. We loved every minute of it and can't imagine a better way to see the canyon and surrounding areas.

I took my sister on the rafting trip for her birthday. It was one of the best days that either of us have ever had. The rafting was really exciting, and it felt pretty unbelievable for two girls from Eastbourne to be going down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon, with a native American! Our guide was knowledgeable and we felt very safe in his care. Stopping and having lunch in a gorge where pioneering men had gone missing and never been seen again was pretty unreal, but we did have geckos for company. Climbing up the waterfall got the adrenaline going for sure but it was worth the effort. The day was rounded off fantastically being lifted out of the canyon by helicopter.
I would recommend that anybody with even a little sense of adventure goes on this day out - it had everything you could need.

My sister and I went on the rafting tour in early October 2007. The weather was gorgeous as we tried to imagine what our day would be like. It was truly one of the greatest experiences of my life. When you combine the most beautiful scenery in the world (at the Grand Canyon) with the most prompt, friendly, professional service you could hope for, the result is one of the best things you can ever do for yourself and/or your family. The rapids were wildly exhilarating, yet tenable for a couple of middle aged sisters that were ready for an adventure! The helicopter ride was breathtaking, as well. We met wonderful fellow tourists and the tour operators were so very nice. It is extremely well-organized and the folks running this tour are very experienced. I hope I can come back with my kids and do it again!

For anyone who has never seen the Grand Canyon before, I would recommend this to be the first tour. Unbelieveable views. The rapids are intense and amazing. I only wish they lasted longer. Once you get on the water, the first hr and 10 mins is really exciting...action packed, holding on tight, and getting absolutely soaked. Then it slows to a slow raft ride down the river for four hours. Make sure it's warm out when you go. because the Colorado River is 40 degrees year round. Also, climbing up to the secret waterfall in the cave was pretty amazing. This trip is pricy, but when else are you going to see the Grand Canyon, go big or stay in your hotel, because seeing it from a plane would get boring after a while. You will see wildlife on this tour which makes it exciting.

Really well organized, well designed, lots of highlights, what a great way to enjoy the amazing scenery. I took my 75 year old parents and we all had the best day!

We had a great day out at the Grand Canyon, although the toilet facilities left a lot to be desired, but hey that's all part of the fun! Our guide was very laid back to say the least - lovely guy. Having lunch on the banks of the Colorado River was just the best and the helicopter ride was the perfect way of finishing off a great day out. We came on your trip after it had been recommended by a friend and we have raved about it to everyone since we have returned home. Expensive but worth every cent.
Thanks for a great (and exhausting) day out.

This is the BEST tour in Vegas. Nothing comes close to it. The rafting ride was fabulous the scenery is fantastic and you WILL get wet, really wet. But that is the fun of it. The helicopter ride provides a thrilling finale to the whole experience. This is THE tour that me and my wife will forever remember for our honeymoon.

It was well run, good guides and a great day out. I just wish we had stayed OUTSIDE Las Vegas nearer the Canyon.
