My companion and I had the best time driving ourselves to the West Rim in the Hummer. Our guide was very friendly. The directions were clear and the Hummer was nicely detailed and clean inside and out. We knew exactly what to expect. When we arrived at the tour depot we took our guide's advice and had lunch at the Ranch, wow, it was great! Ribs, chicken, all the fixings. We had some fun with the "locals". Wagon ride and shoot' em up! Great fun. We had a very relaxing day on our own and best thing was we had the Hummer for 24 hours so we cruised to places on and beyond the Strip that were too far to walk to. We highly recommend Sams Town on the way back for a great steak dinner and a nice relaxing atmosphere. The whole trip was memorable from start to finish and we didn't get any speeding ticket either. You rock! Keep up the good work! You have to try this at least once especially if you have taken a tour bus to the Canyon before, this was much better. Please try it, you wont regret it!

The drive was fun, didn't know the road was going to be so rough, but the Hummer handled it perfectly! The Skywalk was a bit of a letdown with no cameras allowed and being under construction, but the Grand Canyon was well worth the trip. I would recommend this to anybody.

The H3 self drive hummer tour was an exceptional experience! Our day began by being picked up by a brand new Lincoln Navigator at our hotel, the driver took us to the tour office. We were given a quick overview by our gracious host, where we received our map and complimentary cooler with bottles of water. To our surprise we were upgraded to an H2 hummer, given the keys and sent on our way. The map was very detailed and the self-drive tour was perfect as it allowed us to travel at our own pace. We were able to visit any place we wanted for as little or as long as we wanted without having to follow a set schedule. We made a quick 20 minute stop at the Hoover Dam, took some pictures and were on our way. Our drive through the Joshua Tree Forest was a sight to see! When we arrived at the Grand Canyon tour center, we were greeted by friendly employees who were more than happy to answer any questions we had. We then embarked on our Grand Canyon Tour to the Skywalk at Eagle Point and lunch at Guano Point, where we were able to walk right up to the edge of the canyon and look over without any guardrails or safety nets! The view is spectacular and the experience is indescribeable through words. If you plan on going to the Grand Canyon and don't want to be bogged down by tour guides or other tourists, this is the trip for you. My girlfriend and I had a great time and would recommend it to everyone!

Hummer was great, drive very easy, great scenery. Had slight problem with GPS on return trip, but we sorted it out. Great way to get to the Grand Canyon and in your own time. No schedule to keep to. Recommend.

The Hummer was a blast to drive. The directions were not easy to follow. We got lost because of instead of turning off the GPS system when we were almost at the destination, we left it on and it kept trying to get us to turn back. We followed it a few times only to get ourselves lost. Other than that everyone was very professional and friendly. We would definitely do another tour like this from them.

It was a great way to travel to the Grand Canyon. Being our traveling interest is photography going at our own pace made the trip relaxing and fun. Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon package made getting around a breeze. Highly recommend.

We booked this before traveling to Vegas via the internet. My girlfriend and I are both mid twenties.
It's probably the best thing we did whilst there. It was so effortless, we were picked up from the hotel, taken to the car rental store and given a choice of colours of Hummers. What a decision to make at 08:00 am! Staff was very helpful and friendly and seemed to genuinely want us to enjoy our trip. Spent a fantastic day driving to the Canyon and took hundreds of photo's. Lunch was good, decent range of dodgy gifts in the shops to bring home!
Finished up with a drive back and didn't have to return the mighty Hummer till the following morning. Took it through a drive through - because I could! Went shopping on the smaller retail parks too, found a Walmart etc. for some real bargains. Very satisfying to throw the shopping bags into the Hummers boot afterwards.
Was VERY worried about filling the petrol tank before returning it, expected it to cost a fortune, in fact 3/4 of a tank of petrol cost less than $50. Which I was amazed by, then angry to think how much it'd have cost back here! Returned the vehicle early next morning and the staff dropped us off on the strip. Fantastic trip, book with confidence and do it!

This was a great day trip addition to our vacation. The service and directions we got from the staff made it very easy to navigate our way from Vegas to the Canyon in the snazzy red H3. Two of the three view points on the West Rim offer some great views and photo opportunities though the "Ranch" can definitely be skipped- it was cheesy & the food was bland. It was also very convenient to have the vehicle rental for a full 24 hour period to do some extra running around in before returning it. The only other thing to keep in mind is that this tour company is a little hard to get a hold of during off hours - the voicemail isn't consistent and the people on the other end of the phone don't always sound professional but we didn't have any troubles face-to-face and I would use their service again.
