Barbra & Frank - The Concert That Never Was (Tribute Show)

Description

Barbra & Frank: The Concert That Never Was ... brings to stage the sights and sounds of 2 of the biggest superstars in music. Just imagine the possibilities? Would one have outshone the other? Would their onstage banter have been friendly or a bit snippy?

Accompanied by both live piano and orchestrated music, Sharon Owens, as Barbra Streisand, and Sebastian Anzaldo, as Frank Sinatra, run through a medley of the performers' hits, including their well-known classic torch songs.

The show begins even before Barbra and Frank take the stage. The pre-show is collection of video clips filled with trivia about the two stars careers, achievements and how their lives intertwined, and it truly captures the impact of Sinatra & Streisand's amazing talents.

The screen slowly rises as a silhouette of Francis Albert sings "I’ve Got A Crush On You," the very duet Barbra and Frank recorded in 1993. Barbra enters the stage singing with Frank, but she wastes no time zinging him with his refusal to record "live" in the studio with her. You'll be laughing from the start!

Barbra Struts Her Stuff!

Barbra performs a collection of our favorites, including "People," "Evergreen" and "Woman In Love." Barbra portrays an image of Barbra Streisand, so convincing, that you will question if you’re seeing the real thing!

From the unique Streisand nose to her incredible voice, Sharon Owens creates an impression that will simply take your breath away.

And Then There Was Frank

Following Barbra's incredible performance, Frank enters the stage singing "I've Got The World On A String."

Now this man really brings Ol' Blue Eyes to life, with Sinatra's signature confidence and style. Sebastian Anzaldo carries himself with that same cocky attitude. Swinging through Sinatra’s repertoire, including "Fly Me To The Moon," "Come Fly With Me" and "Summer Wind," Sebastian will have the audience swooning!

A Talented Pair, Not Soon To Be Forgotten!

Sebastian Anzaldo is fast becoming one of the top "Sinatra" interpreters in the country. In just a few short years, he has honed his act to perfecting the essence of this great musical icon. With the voice, looks and mannerisms of Ol' Blue Eyes, Sebastian has wowed audiences from coast to coast.

Sharon Owens is THE Barbra Streisand. Critics and audiences agree that Sharon not only has the look; she has the voice! From New York to LA, from London to Israel, Sharon has been captivating audiences with her tribute to Barbra Streisand.

A highlight of the show is a delicate blending of two of their signature songs: Sinatra croons verses from "It Was A Very Good Year" with Streisand singing "The Way We Were."

This is an excellent choice in shows for anyone, even people who don’t listen to this genre of music. It was funny, highly entertaining, relaxing, but above all fun. I most enjoyed that the cast would interact with the crowd and take pictures throughout the show.
